mapFeeder™ is a development environment for creating task-specific mapping and reporting applications and sharing geospatial information with any OGC®-compliant software: Google Maps, Bing! Maps, ESRI ArcGIS products, etc. Create interactive maps with your own data and layers from Flat Rock Geographic’s comprehensive map library.
Why is it called mapFeeder™? Simple! Information is fed into your map-based database using custom designed forms. Hosted on our secure servers, the forms can be designed rapidly and are then automatically connected to the built-in map. Track road sign inventories, map project sites, track permitting activities; anything with a location.
The mapFeeder™ framework is built on best-of-breed open source tools including MapServer, OpenLayers, PostGIS, the CodeIgniter PHP framework and the jQuery JavaScript framework.
